Hi there! Welcome to my small world.

Let’s get right into it, how do YOU deal with self-doubt?

Sounds crazy right? Why would anyone doubt his/herself?

Self-doubt is a feeling of uncertainty concerning one or more aspects of the self, it could be you doubting your capabilities, talents, skills, etc. Even when it is obvious you are doing very well, you still think you’re not doing enough and you should have done better.

I believe self-doubt is a part of everyone’s life, you just either let it get to you or try to repress it. If you ever have a reason to feel like you’re not enough or your efforts are unseen, don’t let that weigh you down. Deep down you know the efforts you put into getting things done, solving problems, achieving goals so you shouldn’t let what people think make you feel bad.

Yeah! I mentioned ‘what people think’ because you can not just sit and doubt yourself, you start doubting yourself when people start judging you, when you let what people think get to you, when you see people achieving so much and you start feeling like you’ve made no progress when that is not the case. You wouldn’t be doubting yourself or feeling bad if you discovered that the people you think got it all also feel like they’ve not done enough.

So how do YOU deal with this thing when it comes? I’d love to hear your thoughts, advises and opinions.

Here are some ways I think you can control Self-doubt but before that, let’s go on a break.

So here are some tips that have worked for me,

Reward Yourself for a Job Well Done: No matter how little you think what you have done is, you can reward yourself by taking yourself out, doing anything you love doing, resting(yeah this is a reward too), anything to make you happy! you did well!.

Celebrate Wins: No matter how little you think the win is, celebrate it. Celebrations show you are grateful and being grateful openings doors to greater things. Celebrate your wins always, no matter how little.

An image reminder for you to celebrate your small wins!

Surround Yourself With Amazing People: Even if you have just one friend who motivates you, cheers you and encourages you, that’s fine. You need someone to let you know you’re doing well, if you have more than one person then you are lucky!.

I can’t wait to read what you think about this and advises you have for people trying to overcome self-doubt. I hope these few tips help.

You’re doing well and you got this!!! Don’t forget that. Cheers.
